In 2016 we were looking to downsize. We sold our beautiful 3600 SQ.FT home in North Raleigh and started the process of house hunting. This is our seventh move and being in our mid seventys a little bit more challenging. Our requirements were simple. Smaller house, smaller lot, master on first floor and place with a warm and loving neighborhhod.
My lovely bride and real estate agent looked at several resale and new construction houses. When she came across the one she liked, we both looked at it and agreed this was the one. It was a new built by Michael Schriver, Owner of Fidelis Construction. We have always purchased resales in the past. So this was a new experience for us.
There were many aspects of this house that were appealing. The attention to detail, the lay out, the hardwood floors, crown molding, quality of the fixtures, the beautiful kitchen layout(which was a requirement for my wife) and much, much, more. I think the thing that impressed me the most, was the builder himself wanted to meet us before he would sell us the house.
During that process we had a wonderful experience! He was very responsive and very attentive to our concerns and requirements. He went out of his way to make things easier for my wife, prior to us moving in. Michael and his team are the true meaning of professionals.
We are now in our new home for almost 3 months and love every inch of it. Mike and his brother CJ often stop by to say hello and ask how things are going.
